North Caldwell Seasonal Events

Living in North Caldwell, New Jersey means year round fun, events and activities. Each of the distinct seasons here brings with it a calendar filled with great family things to do. The spring is the ideal time of year to explore the area for local craft sales. Savvy shoppers can take advantage of the many craft fairs that take place in the area. Shopping locally also helps to support local artisans. One of the largest craft shows is the annual Gift and Vendor show.

During the summer the town comes alive with numerous outdoor activities aimed at entertaining local families. Not only do residents enjoy the numerous hiking trails, walking paths and biking areas, they also enjoy organized fairs. During the summer months families enjoy the annual Rotary/Kiwanis Caldwell Street Fair that takes place along the main street of town. There is also the Friends of Caldwell College Craft Fair to mark on your calendar as well!

During the fall local residents are asked to lend a hand in supporting the Annual Food Drive. These food products go directly to helping the Caldwell Food Pantry for those less fortunate. Items can be dropped off or at-home pick-up can be arranged.

The month of November brings out the best in young talent as theatrical presentations are showcased with theater patrons for all ages. It is also the month North Caldwell residents participate in the Advent Festival. This festival is very popular with its more than one dozen craft stations that sell a wide variety of goods that include holiday decorations and family tree ornaments.

No holiday season is complete without a Christmas concert and North Caldwell has an annual concert that has been running for more than 25 years. This magnificent Christmas event is one not to be missed as it includes a professional chorus and 42-piece symphony orchestra.

When summer comes back around don’t miss out on the spectacular Fourth of July celebrations. This annual extravaganza is sponsored by the surrounding communities that include Essex Fells, Roseland, Caldwell, West Caldwell and of course, North Caldwell. The fireworks begin at dusk and carry on throughout the night. In the event of rain, there is always an adapted rain date.
